So I have been working on a report on BO. I have worked out the query which works perfectly fine. So I have started the design with fancy charts. All is good. I constantly check if the data and the charts display the correct values. So far everything is good. Now I needed to use some tables with the same data columns. I have created the cross tab table and checked it. No good!! The chart which is above the same table uses the same columns and displays the data perfectly fine. But the cross tab is just blank... Strange.. Why it works on the chart but not on the table.. So after 30 mins trying to find this awkward behavior, I tried copying the chart again and turn the copied chart to table. Again displayed the report and works like a charm... Still I don't understand why it works on a copied table but I think I should leave work early and join Nagy..

Usually in that situation I blame the reporting tools. It seems like reporting is still pretty weak across the board.
