I watched this last Friday. Put it on to test I'd connected the surround sound speakers properly when putting everything back together in our bedroom after decorating and left it going whilst I carried on working in there.

A true tail of Luton... Last year, while Mrs Wife and the girls where back in Hungary, they came over for a holiday. On the return journey, I accompanied them up to Luton Airport and then popped into the Wheel Tappers to see the famed Dave. Just the one mind. ... and the next one ... ... and a few more ... ... IIRC they landed before I left Luton.

I too rewatched this recently. I remeber being blown away by it when I saw the orignal a few days after release(yes I am old enough), however now it seems painfully slow although still scientifically excellent.
I often struggle to stay awake through it if just sitting and watching, simply because of the slow pace and the music and the complete lack of anything (after the monkeys finish screeching) to wake you up again.
