Looks Like They Couldn't Afford a Webpage
-
Though they could afford the domain: http://www.karpathos.gr/. Looks like they even have a favicon setup. Just no HTML. According to Wikipedia, that domain is the official one for the island of Karpathos. Stumbled across this island while looking at random locations on Google Maps for a potential future vacation. Any remote locations you would recommend for a vacation?

When i saw the title to this lounge post i thought you were referring to that "stuff" that is now the front page. its rubbish is what the front page is - sorry designers but its pants. Bryce (who thinks the front page now looks pants and isn't afraid to say so)

Hi AspDotNetDev, Looks lovely to me: [^]. Absence of web-page content could indicate less traveled to ? I'd look at TripAdvisor, and LonelyPlanet sites. Some wonderful places in Thailand, but think late October to early January. You gotta have beaches ? yours, Bill

It is quite an illusion to imagine that one adjusts to reality essentially without the use of language and that language is merely an incidental means of solving specific problems of communication or reflection." Probably the most important factor in any vacation. Preferably warm, clear, and calm enough that I don't have to fear I'll drown in a rip tide (lack of jellyfish and low chance of deadly sea creatures also a plus). I'm thinking of going to Bora Bora, but that's stupidly expensive, so I'm saving that trip for a couple years down the road (after I've paid off all my debt). It also seems a bit touristy, but I want to go at least once in my life. This would be the perfect spot (though from what I've seen it would be hard to find a spot in Bora Bora that isn't perfect).

The favicon was provided by the host itself, didn't you notice that server icon... Just they don't have any stuff in their directory. Anyways, i'm quite sure, they have purchased a domain (not a great deal, domains are available dirt-cheap @ $1.5) and some server space, they are dirt-cheap too... even free web-hosts are available! But for hiring a page designer, they aren't available dirt-cheap.

Doesn't look all that interesting, but it's certainly remote!
