Good job you posted that link in this thread - or I'd be really worried about what you were googling :)

It's a possibility, but I think I will stick with my tried and true Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie[^] which has not failed me yet. No space alien has yet been able to control my mind since I began using the AFDB

I loved this from the bottom of that site...

I predict that North Americans will adopt the more regular "-ium" spelling by the year 2050, prompting the British to start calling it "alumininium". At that point debate can begin on changing "platinum" to "platinium"

Apologies if this is a little off-forum context, but are we going to see Episode 2 of MVVM? Plan to start studying it next week or so and I liked the way you explained it all in Episode 1, although I must confess I have not studied it seriously yet. Thanks!

We are making a stand for frequent ad-hoc temporary use. It is basically two vertical boards (wood, plywood) with four holes in each one. They are placed with a "T-Square" like base of a couple of two-by-fours In the holes (on the vertically standing boards) we are inserting some simple PVC pipes. These are parallel to the top of the table on which the stand is used. The fellow who constructed this tried 1 inch holes and 1 inch PVC pipe. Result: too tight. So he bored the holes a little larger. Now they are too loose. I just tried wrapping the pipe with paper towels. Result: sad attempt, barely works. Obvious next step: get larger PVC pipe. Before I do that, is there some sort of goop that I can spray in to make the pipes fit snugly for the moment, which I can later remove with light manual force ? If there's a way to post a photo of this, I will; somebody please show me how.

Expanding foam? You might need a bit of force to get it off again but a chisel should do it.

Better to have left it in the over-tight situation. You could've sanded down the ends of the PVC pipe.
