All of the links you provided show 2 things: 1) Your blatant, dislike of George W. Bush. 2) Your trust in uncorroborated (sp?), downright kooky internet sources. Nothing you have shown me proves that Rush Limbaugh is getting his paychecks from the Republican party. He works just like you and I do and he earns his paycheck from his radio show, books, website, and newsletter. If you can find a check to Rush from the RNC, photo copy it, paste it here on CP, then maybe I'll believe it. Until then, this, like all of your other cockamammy ideas and theories don't mean a pile of horse crap to me. :|

Truthfully, I don't remember ever hearing a "Vote for xxx" spot on the show. And I think I listen much more than you do. Perhaps you heard spots purchased on the local station during Rush's time slot. Why would they need to advertise when what Rush is saying should be their advertisement anyway?

I couldn't post this last night because I couldn't reach the site, I guest codeproject DNS maintenance. In my quest to do more research on the bit of info I learned about Rush Limbaugh back in Philly, motivated by this post by Jason Henderson, http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?msg=422670&forumid=2605#xx422670xx[^] I found some funny stuff and then the beginning of my answer. We would be happy to have you join us in an overt overhaul of the government and a reestablishment of proper constitutional principles any time you are ready. Hmmm, my copy of the constitution only mentions Federal rights, nothing about capitalism, free markets, or states rights. States rights were only enumerated beginning with the first 10 amendments, i.e. Bill of Rights, and again, capitalism and free markets are not mentioned.

Wasn't it the states that wanted the amending process in the first place? I know for a fact they insisted on the bill of rights.
