I was genuinely interested in this exchange about Kanban and then I came upon this last post with the shortened URL. I wanted to look at the web site in case it was honestly Kanban related, but I feared it was a malicious site. Do you ever worry about shortened URLs? **Insert Gratuitous Self Promotion Here** I opened up my DragonSharq browser which allows me to preview the site safely, since it only downloads the bytes of the site and doesn't allow any scripts to run. I dropped the shortened URL in and loaded it with confidence. You can see the page is actually real Screenshot of dragonsharq /w page loaded : http://newtonsaber.com/images/codeproj/dragonsharq18.png[^] DragonSharq Article On CodeProject Check out my article on CodeProject and get the DragonSharq app and source code. I think you'll like it for examining shortened URLs like this. DragonSharq Web Browser: Safe Browsing / Source Viewing[^]

Ever heard of it?[^] No the question: Since Kanban is a 'version' of Scrum (Do war on that please, I know both may suck if applied wrong) do you know anything about a TFS plugin / compatible software which allows you to have a digital Kanban board? I am asking this because we are having the problem of a department leader who is forcing us to have a physical Kanban board (which is kinda bad since one of our devs is located in Aachen, 400 KM away from where we sit). Any Experience (With Kanban and|or digital Kanban boards)? cheers, Marco

We wrote our own. Supervisor suggested, I roughed out, the youngster fixed it up beyond all recognition. Took it to the Big Boss; he caved and shelled out for the snazzy Microshot Outlook extension(I forget the name). Ours was better.

Our team uses SEP TeamWorks. It is free and works off of a TFS query to display the WorkItems. SEP TeamWorks groups the WorkItems by State and, optionally, horizontally into swimlanes grouped by any WorkItem property you choose. The "Cards" SEP TeamWorks displays for the WorkItems are customizable so you can have them display the ID, StackRank, StoryPoints, Name & one or two other bits of information right on the Kanban board. Did I mention free?
