Exit the house at 6:32am, thinking there would be less traffic. Well, got all the red traffic lights I can get, and got a very slow car in front of me from home right to the office. By chance for him it wasn't a colleague. So checked in here at 6:49am. Without traffic the same trip takes about 10 minutes... Now ready for a small break.

I won't tell you how long it took me to get to work each morning - you'd only get jealous!

I was first in the office too. I am using the metro and walking some distance by foot :) Its great to be one of the first :) After my small vacation (9 working days) i was first in the office 8:40 am arrival time in Monday (What is wrong with me ?!) when my usual was around 9:30 am even when i wake up at 6 am :-D For small reference it takes around 30 minutes to get to work.

I took public transport until 2 years ago. It was just too long: 1 hour for 7 kilometers, if lucky. If you miss the connection, it is 1 hour and 30 minutes. This is because the bus goes down town first and from there another one goes here.

Did I read that right? Did you just complain about a 17 minute commute? :slap: :slap: Soren Madsen

It is more a shock to see how many people are around so early in the morning, now on holiday period. ;)

Hot and bothered - he doesn't like the fan at all (I think the noise is uncomfortable for him) and he is suffering from the heat a little as a result. Still the good bit of that is it reduces the number of live animals he brings home... ;)

I have to wait until August the 25th, then take a bus to Milano Malpensa, and probably a KLM to Amsterdam.. ;)

You've a problem driving 17 minutes? Really? Go ahead, post it[^]. I drive anywhere from 35 minutes to 90 minutes ONE WAY. And some people at work think that I'm lucky. :~

Well, on normal period, when schools are open, it can reach to 40 minutes, 1 hour easely.

So, instead of 10 minutes it took you 17 minutes and that's all it takes to get you furious?

1 hour for 7km? You could literally walk that fast (and make a massive saving using a bike).

It took you 17 minutes to drive into work when it normally takes 10?? You're bitching about 7 freakin' minutes?? And now you need a break?? It takes me 30-45 minutes, on a good day, or about an hour and a half on a really bad one. I only have to go 17 miles!
