The Friday Post™
-
Back by popular* demand  What are you doing this Friday? :) My mother is visiting and my aunt and uncle are dropping in tomorrow as well. Some distant relative is coming down from Mumbai for a big get-together on Sunday for their 80th birthday  and later their grand daughter is giving a dance programme as well  Maybe go to the beach tomorrow with the wife. Hopefully a game of AoE3 in between all this. * A nod of the head to Merrens for reminiscing about it and a tip of the hat to Gary Wheeler (you have a beautiful sig man, I remember seeing it when I joined CP more than 10 years back and it still gives me a chuckle when I read it) for remembering correctly.

Last time you posted your Friday Post, it was the girlfriend. I presume you spent your weekends since then making your wife (and yourself) happy and contented!:rose: By visiting temples of course! Which beach: Marina or Elliott's?

Nothing. Busy cooking right now. Tomorrow is motorcycle service day. I sense some issues in gear box. Plus need to adjust light focus. Even on low beam, I can clearly see tree leaves in night. Sunday, unfortunately will have to work a little on some code piece. Not by choice. BTW, wouldn't it make more sense if question was "What are you doing this weekend?".

Yeah, that's what I meant to write  Clearly, I am out of touch and wrote it in a hurry before going to bed.

Haha, yes, I remember posting that, but a bit hard to believe I done a single TFP in over 2 years! Live in Adyar so it will be Besant Nagar.

This fine Friday, having wasted half a day working, I'm relaxing with a few scotch flavored beverages, in preparation for a grueling weekend of laying out a bit of concrete work for my lady. She has a largish shed which is in imminent danger of falling down, and which is filled with goodies of the irreplaceable kind; mathoms in her time closet, so to speak. So I'm planning to build her a new shed on firmer ground; namely a 12' x 12' concrete pad. It turns out that it's cheaper to order premixed and delivered concrete, than to buy the bags of ready mix needed and mix them with water, one at a time. I'm all for that! :-D
