    extolling the virtues of the mountain biking helmet that I had bought for our son. And thanking me for having bought said helmet. It was cracked in half as a result of his crashing on the mountain bike. Helmet did not survive. Son did survive, no head damage. Some "road rash". Man scars. Glad for that! Thank God for little (big) miracles!

        And it is only slightly amusing that you had to brow beat the little bugger into wearing the helmet. Glad it did it's job well and hopefully the road rash will make him slightly more cautious.
