have you used one? I was considering buying it.

Talking about PC's only. In 1st August (that's today in some nearly extreme west) 1982, Commodore 64, a then famous PC was released that was powered by a 8-bit MOS Technology 6510 microprocessor @ 1.023 MHz  And today how much? Now, I'm on a little older machine so I may not be aware of the max speeds in these days. But I'm sure, a super computer at the start of the millennium will be beaten by a today's modern PC with 2-4 GPUs Ok, Today's speeds[^]

Evidently the site hasn't been updated I found an 8 core 4.4 GHz CPU[^] the other day, and it will fit on my mother board. hmmmm But then I'd have to get more memory and the graphics card is a few years old.

VS2010/Atmel Studio 6.1 ToDo Manager Extension Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.

FX-9370 isn't that good. i7-3960X is on the list, which is faster.

Perhaps I'll get that. $349 is a good buy. And here in local markets its available even less. *** 8 core 4.4 Ghz CPU form AMD is in mo match for an i7 is computational power. Apparently, clock speed have a less impact on MIPS

But, you didn't consider Indian Inflation right? Cost of everything is increasing in geometric progression, with a lot of momentum. But pay packets perhaps have acquired a lot of inertia. :((

That's not just India, I'm afraid - and it only applies if you aren't already very rich. Then your salary and bonuses are well and truly keeping ahead of "true" inflation...
