I did the interview last week and wasn't entirely confident but I've now got a start date of August 12th. 6 months of well paid work doing C++. It means there will be less time for me to hang out on CP :( but more money for biscuits and stuff. Now to find a suitable form of celebration :-D

It's hot! Damned hot! It's hot and sticky, great if you're with a woman but crap when you're stuck in Budapest. I wanna go swim in the lake but we're up in the smoke for three days. TBH, we could have got Ickle's passport by tomorrow but I have lots of other jobs to do here so I'll pick it up Wednesday morning, then back to Fured and the blessed beach. And large drinks for very little money.

It's been horribly sticky here too between the random lumps of heavy rain hunting for a cricket match and the sudden cooler patches when the storm just misses you but its shadow doesn't.
