I like metal and classic rock - basically anything with loud guitars in it. I would like some suggestions for some bands/albums to check out. Can be new or old, doesn't matter. If I already have it, maybe I need to give it another listen.... Any ideas?

I know it's a weird name, but Spock's Beard is worth a listen.

"Live From Austin" (Eric Johnson). Recorded in 1988. An oldie but ... transcendent enough to still exist in the future.

Petra[^] and Weezer[^] are great and have not been mentioned yet, unlike other great bands that have.

                      Ciao, luker
