Anyone been? I'm in that neck of the woods at the end of the month and am looking for recommendations on where to go and what to do? We will have our 4 year-old girl and 6 year-old Son with us.
Yeah, it is nice. But even better is Gumushluk but it is a long way, hours, from there.

Yeah it's booked so I won't be changing, any reccomendations on places to see? I think there is a lot of biblical stuff there and the area is rumoured to be the actual garden of Eden.
There is a lot to see in Turkey. Were were there for three weeks without kids so we travelled around a lot and saw a lot of places. You might just want to head for the beach most days with perhaps a trip to a local site of interest. We went to Gumushluck, Bodrum, Oludeniz, Dalyan, Ephesus, Milas, Pamukale and the church of Mary (forget where that was). A Bogart film was made at Dalyan, Africa Queen, its got some cool mausoleums. Ephesus is amazing. Pamukales stunning, you could go in the travertines then, and Oludeniz beautiful. I would love to see Van abd Trabzon too, but they are way away. Have fun!

Visit a 'marash ice cream' stall with the kids, you might well get a chuckle as well as an ice cream. They're the ones service ice cream with a 1-meter metal stick... normally just one flavour I think.
