So, I get an email from my colleague on our new TFS set up. I was expecting just the server details but I was loaded with some service pack information. My question was did we switched versions? Answer: no, but MS is probably stupid. My colleague is a really intelligent guy. Far better than me. He was so diplomatic and yet hitting at MS. Like McVomit says: "I'm lovin' it"

I've used TFS only for issue tracking. It sucked.

I like TFS. We just switched from one server to another. I guess the new one is on cloud somewhere. To get it working, we need to have some service pack installed on computer. I am not sure why.

I guess you switched to the TFS hosted on Microsoft's servers http://tfs.visualstudio.com/[^] They use TFS 2012 which is not compatible with VS2010 without this update. Another option is using VS2012 which doesn't need such a patch.

Probably. I have no intentions to switch to VS2012.
