I tried working out what's best for me but too much marketing and different opinions. I want a device that my wife and 2 year old can use at home with Wi-Fi. Good camera for home shots of daughter, Internet access through Wi=Fi and some Apps downloads. Have desk top for everything else. Cheap unit because daughter doesn't play nice. any recommendations?

My mother has a very small digital camera, think it's a Canon, not sure so, can be a Nikon too. And it perfectly fits in the pocket..

I have a Canon too. It's a bit unwieldy. First time I took a photo with it, I blew the damn wall off.

"Cheap" and "Good" don't generally play well together! The Cheap end of the market (Android tablets on FleaBay are from about £50) aren't good - accuracy of finger is not generally good, and reliability is pretty poor. Your camera need rules out the Nexus and the Kindle which only have front facing, which is useless for photography. And then you're up into Apple territory, with Apple pricing and this week's model. I think you would probably be better off getting a Nexus or Kindle and a smartphone for the camera!

"Cheap" and "Good" actually do play well together. How? If you buy cheap, you end up spending money on repairs, replacements, which in many cases turn up to be more expensive than the originally better and more expensive product. So all in all, the better one IS the cheaper one. This is why I always say: "Cheap? I don't have enough money to buy Cheap!"

It is a paradox that paradoxes would actually exist in reality. That means of course that they don't exist. However, they do!

I don't have one, no, but everything I've bought from the site has been pretty damned good. That one is quite new to the site, so there hasn't been time for reviews, yet, bit Iaiwai is a serious company with a good rep (and it's quad core, alum shell, decent camers, etc, so they're not messing around). Try searching the site for "quad core tablet", and setting the sort order to "Best rating", and you'll see options that have been there long enough to have ratings.

Now I have a Chrono from Sector (of course Swiss made, not that Japanese stuff..) Just read on wiki that it was a Napoli (Italy) originary familly who made the watches in Neuchatel and headquarters are right here in Lugano, didn't know that..
