Having delivered naught of the old modernity, I am in favour of a new posterity. Perhaps a call to arms to fight the excitement of banality.

Ah, but the style of the more curvaceous of fruits surely hints at something that could well be post-pre-modernist.

Although not quite sure what I actually meant by this, I think it would make an absolutely stupendous buzz-phrase. To that end, I would hope the 10,000,000 CP'ers would take up the call and use this word at every opportunity; inject it, now matter how dubious the context, in every conversation, and otherwise shamelessly promote it. Then we can sit back and here all the TV/Radio/Politico's using the new phrase and know it's because of us. A smirk-of-power would be in order and well deserved.

Where ever did you get the idea that our society needs help in coming up with utterly meaningless phrases? I'm to the point where I hate to say anything for fear of spawning the next idiotic phrase that will be mindlessly repeated until I vomit every time it's spoken. Please exercise more care, Balboos.

Well - it's like this. If it's going to be done, I might as well take control. Who knows - with some careful copyrighting I may be able to make a fortune suing various media, making money with guest appearances as a pundit, or pretend I did not shirk my duty in bring humanity down yet another notch. So - it's all for the best - in the best of all possible worlds.

It's not a word. It's two words. Using just one of them is not going to work; people will just think "what an idiot: why does he go on and on about "new" all the time?", or the same for "posterity". Is this the New Posterity? Looking like an idiot? I think not!

You started with "buzz-phrase" and moved to "word" when you were exhorting us to popularise it.

[Lame Explanation Alert] I used the term 'Word' as one would use it when describing scripture - thus, it encompasses any amount of text and associated misinterpretations.

I used the term 'Word' as **no-**one would use it when describing scripture - thus, it encompasses any amount of text and associated misinterpretations.

i.e. wrongly. The word for that is "text".

How you mangle your language, no matter how well or poorly intentioned, is a matter for you. A catch-phrase that doesn't occur naturally, i.e. that is "invented" and pushed, is a catch-phrase not worth bothering with.

Couldn't have come up with a better reason to hype it into the common vernacular than your post.
