My internet isn't this fast!

Firefox 23 often shows the speed of downloads as 'infinity GB/sec'. I saw this sometimes with older versions as well. Strange bug.

Chrome and IE(!) display a more correct number (usually around 90kb/s. On broadband. Thanks, Frontier Communications). I often go to Ivy Tech just to get speeds of around 3+mb/s. Yes, 3+mb/s.

Thats quick.. At home it says.. Over 100 kb/sec.. Oh, its IE..
The signature is in building process.. Please wait...
IE actually displays a logical number. This is just a FF bug (or possibly joke). I also have seen 'i GB/sec', '-infinity GB/s', and 'NaN GB/s'. I think someone at Mozilla might have a sense of mathematical humor.

Looks like you are not downloading from the internet, you are downloading THE internet :) Practically - it's probably a bug with the bytes\KB\MB\GB convertion - when a double is too large, it ruturens Infinity as the numeric value [^]
