Safari Tech Books

Has anyone used the Safari Tech Books Online provied online by O'Reilly? They offer technical books online for $9.99 a month. You get 5 slots a month. http://safari.oreilly.com/[^] It also seems that DevX has partnered with them too. You can get the same deal for $9.99 a month but you also get some other things with it. http://archive.devx.com/free/premierclub/premierclub.asp[^] Does anybody have any experience with it? I know some people do not like reading on a computer. I do not think that it will be too big of a problem for me. It may even provide a good way to "preview" the books before buying them. Jonathan Can you believe it? A non-Iraq, non-war, non-cricket post!

I've also started using it, it's extremely handy for reading up on things. It's not really designed for reading from cover-to-cover since as you mentioned, its difficult to read but its great for reference. -- Paul "Put the key of despair into the lock of apathy. A guy came around to the office the other day and offered us a very good deal on the site (much cheaper than Safari.) I had a look through the booklist and it seemed quite good. Just curious if anyone has used them.

I found it and the pricing was obscene. I gave up on it. Maybe it got cheaper ? Christian NO MATTER HOW MUCH BIG IS THE WORD SIZE ,THE DATA MUCT BE TRANSPORTED INTO THE CPU. - Vinod Sharma
