Took the wife and kids up to the viewing platform yesterday. Thankfully, the children are both under 4 so only my wife and I paid - £30/each. Add on the family photo - £25!! the total was £85 - quite a bit for a view. It is signficantly higher than any other view of London I've seen though, but not that scary. Scary is something I like when going up tall places, and St. Pauls still delivers the goods on this the best after hundreds of years. Still - worth a look if you're feeling flush.

    Regards, Rob Philpott.

£85? If I was ever in two minds about going there, those prices have resolved it. I'll pass it up. I agree about St.Pauls. We went there once and the view up top looking down truly does deliver. :)

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

When you stand atop St Paul's you are still lower than standing on the platform of Salisbury Train Station. However the view is slightly better!

What, you can see Luton from Salisbury Train Station?

£85! Have I mentioned to you a bridge that MehGerbil is selling? I'm on commission but you'll love it, it's right up your street.

A few years back there was (and still may be) a restaurant review site where the Oxo Tower received lots of rather amusing reviews based on the "took her up the Oxo Tower" meme
