I have seen the future. Gesture comtrolled computers will be everywhere and open plan offices will be full of people waving their hands and arms all day long. :~

I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.

Sounds like a day in the houses of Parliament to me.

Don't worry, I got drenched too, made the mistake of thinking I could risk going out for lunch while it wasn't raining, glad I had a spare shirt in the car!

Might be a good way to offset some of the obesity we've got going on in this country. I think they should put down dance pads in people's offices and make 'em dance out their emails. This could not only result in a healthier population but some white people might also learn to dance.

I like this idea - then maybe we can start communicating with bees.

I was thinking of changing my name to Arthur Dent, now on to Agilent bashing and fresh coffee from a cleaned coffee machine! Glenn

Google has already developed something very similar. It is Gmail Motion. https://mail.google.com/mail/help/motion.html[^] and I use it for all online work. I just burned 75 calories posting this.

That won't happen. No more so than people talking to their computers.

I talk to my computer all the time. Mostly swear words, I admit, but...

The only instant messaging I do involves my middle finger.

I often talk/yell to my computer. Most common phrase "Elephant you!" followed by coworkers looking at me to see what is wrong. Maybe one day it will understand me, but then I'll have to be nicer! Hogan
