This is a UK and Europe-based organisation. It is owned by Dice Holdings of New York City. It has been spamming me for ten years. Unsubscribe buttons don't work. I believe that they are part of some sort of regulatory scam. Recently they have started to spam my latest and newest email addresses. I am seeing a lawyer about sending a Cease And Desist letter to Dice. If anybody wants to make this a class action, please feel free to join me.

Now there's a thought. I think a simple C&D letter would be a few quid. It's not so much about legal action, just giving the swine some of their own medicine. ;P

Ah-ha, Principles, the first victim of a the legal system! I sympathise, I really do. You can ask to be removed from their database (I have done that, in the past) I think they have a database issue each month so they have to a new copy from archive which does not have the 'changes' made (is it me or does that sound like cr@p you advertise IT jobs, place an advert for yourselves!). In short, junk mail filter, and perfect the I'm busy at the moment speech (polite, avoid any details, the phrase in the range of drives them nuts!) , they will get the idea and not bother you as much as they are now. Worked for me. Glenn

Well, I only fkn asked because I am not a mind reader. You only stated you tried the unsubscribe buttons in emails. Nowhere does it say you have emailed them. "Unsubscribe buttons don't work." So, did you even get a response to your emails, or did you enable Delivery Tracking or Read Receipts on the off chance their systems allow them, to see if anyone actually does get them/read them. You could always try a written letter to their UK registered address. And, if that that doesn't work, you can turn to the Information Commissioner to lodge a complaint against the organisation: http://www.ico.org.uk/complaints/marketing/4[^] Now, do you have any more smart @rse back chat you want to try and serve up or shall we deploy a can of whoop-ass in your direction... :)

It is Monday, it is the last full day of work, I have a relatively easy handover to draft, I get on the paraffin budgie first thing tomorrow....all these things add up to being in a happy mood. And to top it off, I don't get any emails from them....

My budgie brought me home from TO two weeks ago. I've only been able to face the traditional cake distribution today. If you're going anywhere nice - remember, drink plenty. ;)

I agree with you. Regardless of winning or not, you should make a stand against this kind of thing. I had a similar problem here in Brazil, unfortunately (or not) it didn't go anywhere, but the emails stop. "
