CC started out from Spain bound for Mexico to broker a deal with Mexico for Tequila but the queen thought she was being gracious and supplied the crew with the spirits. While partying one night they ran off course and by the time they all sobered up...well you know the rest of the story!

Any day that begins with Christopher is likely to end with tequila, bail or both. :-D

For some odd reason, the tribe I work for doesn't celebrate Columbus Day... There is a poster that's popular around these parts, depicting an assemblage of tribal chiefs carrying weapons, and sporting the caption: Homeland Security - Fighting Terrorism Since 1492.[^] I agree with the tribes...

Go figure, right? Of course, given that the book I just finished was titled Unite the Tribes, I'd say that's a pretty compelling example of what happens when you don't. Where's Genghis Khan when you need him? :-D

I do too! Growing up in the SW and around various tribes, I've heard a lot of there side of the story!

Sounds plausible. Why would Columbus be any different to the others?
