There's 20 minutes until the closing bell and $MSFT is still up over 6% on the day - have I entered an alternate universe?

Yeah - I just can't believe it held for the whole day - finished up $2.01 (+5.96%). Maybe Wall Street is finally warming-up to Microsoft.

Buying decisions of the public are not based on the products and their merits; there's good reason to buy assets, and that's what Microsoft is. You're basically equating price with value. Here @CP we might see clearly where MS is heading, but for the average Joe it still is a 'safe bet'.

Well, actually, I'm equating Microsoft's stock price with whether I've entered an alternate universe, but I see your point.
