Wrong question. "What if he disembowels me with a machete instead of giving me candy?" is the quetion you should be asking. Because tonight is the one night of the year when it is legal to murder the under-tens! :-D

I know someone who knows someone who lost her best friend that way. She simply forgot to buy candy on Halloween day, and had to face little kids with very strong magic powers. She did not even survive the night.
