Am I the only one who thinks that the Windows 8.1 desktop bears an uncanny resemblance to Windows 3.1? Perhaps they think they can sell us all the post 3.1 versions again with different names. Talk about optimal code reuse!

Well, 3.11 was known as "Windows For Warehouses", so there is a similarity there...

Hey, retro is cool! Nikon just announced their retro camera (with an FX sensor). And why do you think pottery barn is so popular among the upper middle class? :)

Well, before we had to do 16 to 32 bit thunking, now we have to do cross-boundary WinRT calls. All good of course!

I knew Windows 3.1, and that's no Windows 3.1. (I do want 3.1 back though.)

Child, there was no 32 bit in my day. Getting 16-bit was a bonus!

Against my better judgement, I'm going to admit to a slight bout of dyslexia when reading that post. I saw Nikon, camera and sensor. Followed by battery porn, Battery WHAT? Oh.
