The best one I went to: spouses were allowed, and we were collected by minibus at 07:00 on Saturday morning, and taken to a cafe for full English breakfast. The morning was spent go-karting, then pub lunch, the afternoon tenpin bowling, then back to the pub, and a curry house before the minibus dropped us off around midnight. The same company also used to arrange company vs customer paintball days in the summer... ah, happy days!

Hi Everybody, I´ve been chosen to help (together with all newbies from this year) organize this years christmas party in our company since basically no one else wanted to. Drinks and food are allready coverd by the budget and are organized. Just need some inspiration about the entertainment, we´re about 60 people attending and the organization team came up with ideas like "Who am i" game? and powerpoint roulette. So my question is what do you guys do for entertainment at christmas parties at work?

There's nothing so much fun at an office party as a few hearty rounds of     Breeder or Cul-de-Sac?

Sometimes you can just take ordinary games and Christmasize them. We played pictionary one year at our Holiday party and all of the things that were drawn were Christmas songs or movies or whatever. We've also done Holiday Trivia. It was all questions about Christmas songs and movies, etc. Like "How many ghosts visit Scrooge?" or "How many seconds long is Will Ferrel's burp in the movie Elf?" Related to the Who Am I game, we once had the committee take an object from a dozen or so peoples desks and bring them to the party. Then people had to guess which object was from which persons desk. (Not exactly Christmasy, but it was fun.) And there is always the White Elephant gift exchange...but that can be painfully drawn out and boring. I think last year we skipped games and just had some entertainment come in.... Christmas carolers, I believe.
