My mother wants Bob!
-
I was just reading an article when my mother came into my office, took one look at Bob on the top of the page and wanted to know if she could get one, either a toy or a lifesize Bob robot that waddled around behind her. Should I worry?:~
Little toy :bob:'s would be soo soo cool.. just like the little SuSE lizards that you can get... they're cool. :-) Regards, Brian Dela :-)

I'm guessing the concept of a 2 hour movie showing two guys eating a meal and talking struck them as 'foreign' Rob Manderson wrote:

Is that in addition to my evil Calc 2 professor's homework assignments? But honestly, you have Microsoft, Dundas, Seagate Software, and a plethora of others paying you money for advertising...and you can't get a little Bob plush toy? ;P I think it's time for somebody to up the ad rates. :-D

Okay, here's some research: I just went to ThinkGeek. They have a 6" high plush Tux for $8.99 USD. Plush Tux[^] Here's your homework: talk to thinkgeek, find out who their supplier is, talk to that supplier about Bob!

What if we get our post rated red... for example the 300 or so post long thread we had yesterday? "We will thrive in the new environment, leaping across space and time, everywhere and nowhere, like air or radiation, redundant, self-replicating, and always evolving." -unspecified individual

And what was the cost if you produced, say, one hundred? Maybe if we could pre-order (a sort of pre-registration that requires a mandatory followup, where you take our credit card numbers now and then charge on shipping or something) then you could have them made. I'd love a little (no more than six inches) fluffy Bob to keep my monitor company. It mustn't have any clothing though - no CP T-Shirts or web site branding - that is what the "foot tag" is for. We want authentic Bob's! I'd be prepared to pay I suppose £20 for such a thing, though probably more seeing as it would have lots of novelty value for me. Chris...
