I have a solution where I have my code window and toolbox on one monitor and the output window, solution explorer and properties windows are on the other monitor. I open another solution and all the windows default to the main monitor. Is it possible to use one layout across all solutions?

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

I don't believe so, the settings for the window setups are kept in a solution specific file. So each solution has its own settings. It may be possible to change the default so that it's the way you want it, but I haven't seen this feature before.
