Rohit Sinha wrote: This is not just in sports, but in all activities. But why only cricket?? You people played every other game against each other in your native countries during the last 3 years. (Yes, this year for the first time you are not participating in something called SAARC game because of security concerns but i think the other countries are participating in SAARC and none of them complained anything) Rohit Sinha wrote: But on neutral grounds, when more than just India and Pakistan are playing, there are no restrictions whatsoever. This decision was taken just before recent world cup, had there been no tournouments in last three years in which both teams are invited? I think there were many but India refused to go (Bangladesh, Zimbabwe are currently in my mind)

On the one hand Pakistan talks about peace, but on the other hand they have ISI agents stationed in India, and terrorist activity and cross border infiltration and firing is on the rise. But something has happened to them this world cup and they are not performing up to their full potential. Or are you an NRP (non Resident Pakistani)? Sorry I don't know what you call them in Pakistan, in India we call them NRIs. :-D

On this wicket if Bangladesh was playing in place of India, the results would have been the same. There was no chance at all for Pakistan to win this one after scoring less than 320. The pitch was not supporting bowlers at all. Sachin, of course is a big asset of India team. BTW, we are still not out of the tournoument. We will watch Sunday's match with more entusiasm that the India's match. If Aussies kill England then we may reach super sixes and have one more chance to take revenge from India in Semis

If our bowlers had bowled HALF as good as they can they would have made a better fight of it. As for Tendulkar, wow. What form he's in! Shake, McGrath, shake.

Because you guys are so damn good that we are sure we are going to lose. And we have never ever lost to you and don't want to change that at this stage. And we haven't lost to anyone else either. This is why we don't want to play. Not because of terrorism. Not because Sachin and Saurav are under constant threats from terrorists and even in India they have to be accompanied by security guards. Not because so many people in India are killed every day because of terrorists. Not because Pakistan will fire shells at us when it feels like. Not because Pakistan has training camps for terrorists. Not because Pakistan started the Kargil war for no reason. Not because Pakistani agents are spread all over India. Not because they attacked the Parliament about an year ago. Not because terrorists have made the life of people in Kashmir hell. Not because you still have not handed over the 20 terrorists who are hiding in Pakistan, and the Indian government asked Pakistan to hand over to us. Not because every criminal in India can take refuge in Pakistan safely (does D-Company ring a bell? Mumbai bomb blast of 1990?). Not because every Pakistani hates the guts of every Indian. And not even because politicians are fools and will always look at a problem from a political angle, to gain political mileage out of it, and will never try to solve it. No, all this has nothing to do with why we don't play Cricket or anything else with you. This has nothing to do with why we don't want to have anything to do with you till you take a positive step in the direction of curbing terrorism. This is happening because we are afraid of losing a Cricket match. If you really believe that, you need urgent help. John-theKing wrote: Yes boss, i just made my profile. I am new here. The language evolved because of the difficulty that the common people faced in learning and speaking Arabic and Faarsi. It's a language of the people, the masses. Urdu is becoming less and less common as a spoken language, but we still have a lot of "shayers" around who compose in Urdu, and it is their preferred language. People feel proud if they can use Urdu words, especially difficult ones, in their sentences. It's wrong to say that Urdu is dying. I'd say instead that Urdu and Hindi are slowly becoming one language. John-theKing wrote: No way, Indian are vegetarians while in Pakistan meat specially cow's meat is common. Thats why your former lady information minister (Shishma Suraj, forbid my spelling mistake) visited her given an exclusive interview on TV saying that Indian are smart because they are vegetarians. Indians are both vegetarian and non vegetarian. As for the meat of cow, Muslims in India eat it too, if that's what you are on about. If Sushma Swaraj said people are smart just because they are vegetarians, she's an idiot. But I think all the hardcore vegetarians will say something like that. It has nothing to do with religion, community or nationality.

Maybe that's because we don't really feel that strongly against the US, eh? As for the other "differences", yes there are bound to be many, mostly because India is secular while Pakistan is an Islamic state. You are coming back with that one. And I'll repeat, differences are no cause for hatred. Write that down, and keep looking at it till it gets inside your thick skull. Irrelevant. :| John-theKing wrote: End of Urdu Language. And Hindi too. What is evolving here is a mix of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, English, and many other languages. Why does that bother you enough that you keep brining it up? Culture is meant to evolve, otherwise it'll get stale.
