                I'd look at OpenBSD. I used it once as a transparent firewall. Didn't have any hacks that I know of, so I assume it worked. :-D

                  The Red Hat 7.1 I have (from 2001) seems to require a minimum of 32MB and a 486. Does your system have a 3.5" floppy drive?

                    Linux is for kids. :laugh: The grownups use FreeBSD. M0n0wall[^] and pfSense[^] are FreeBSD firewalls that operate off a livecd, USB stick or, CF card. They recommend 64MB RAM.
