You are too nice, man. My president is a bigger idiot than your PM, but I refuse to apologize for him. Not a word. P.S. Who is my president you say? Well, he is from Texas and the biggest idiot in the world.

Why this sudden outburst? Has anything special happened while I was out shooting pool? :) -- It's not unusual to be picked up by a klingon woman It's not unusual to have fun with a klingon When I see you kicking me around It's not unusual to see me cry, I wanna die

Would you like to move to Europe? Why don't we write to our presidents telling them what they are and asking them for a swap - you move to Europe, I move to the United States, we both revoke our citizenship and are granted new citizenship. (if not anything else, I'm sure we'd see our brave faces on CNN) Tomaz

No, I like here fine other than the president and the bunch of morons surrounding him. A better way is, we swap just the presidents. I would trade him any day for one of the peace-loving, environment-protecting, and above all, less-arrogant european leaders. ;-) But, you are welcome to move here, I am always willing to swap a texan for you. :-)

Not really. Some nice canadian just apologized for his prime minister. We americans never apologize as you know. I would just like to put that on record. ;-)

This will not work. If we didn't have these leftist morons here in Europe for the last 50 years then we'd be living in a free society with the level of GDP equal to American, we'd invent IT, we'd send people to the moon and most important of all - we'd have personal and economically liberty. I envy anglosaxons two things - conservatives and republicans. In those countries they are half/half and that contributes to your democracy and provides more diversity of thought. If you lived in leftist Europe where there is no place for different thinking people you'd soon understand what I mean. You have better results because you are different from us, and now you want to be the same. If you ask me - that's stupid. Tomaz

I am not a leftist myself. Except for the president, I like many of the things in my country otherwise I would really want to move to Europe (if they accept me). The current president has nothing to do with all the good things you envy about my country. He is more like a bad luck, the worst nightmare. I didn't think highly of the "leftist morons" you mentioned either, but can anyone be worse than the guy we have? I doubt it. By the way, IT wasn't invented by conservatives and republicans. Anyone here knows it was invented by Al Gore ;-)

We have an eternal problem with Presidents here - Conservatives are inept at foreign policy, as a rule; Liberals are inept at foreign and domestic policy. It's not a pleasant situation, but better half a loaf than none. Maybe next election we'll have a range of choices that includes someone competent from either group, but I wouldn't bet on it. The last competent President we had was Richard Nixon, and he turned out to be a paranoid megalomaniac... Maybe we should draft Presidents based on skills and accomplishments instead of electing them - we could give them time off for good behavior.:) It is ok for women not to like sports, so long as they nod in the right places and bring beers at the right times.

Too late. We no longer accept anyone from terrorist-supporting countries. But "supporting" we mean you don't vote with us in the UN and give money to our war effort. If you are not with us, you are against us. If you provide medical-care to a terrorist (say, a bandaid for a cut on his finger), then it is considered evidence of Bin Laden connection, our next war will be aimed at you. So start your pray!

Ah, you know the yank barbarians. They don't seem to understand European cultural, economic, political and scientific superiority per se and would not fall on their knees in front of me and ask me very nicely if I would receive the greencard. I wish they thought about the Europeans as we think about ourselves. So the only choice I have is to try to push for more liberty and human rights (which would beside the homosexual marriage rights include very unpopular right to low taxes) in Europe. And when you try to push for more liberty and freedom for individual in Europe then you realize how lousy the state of our democracies. The situation in Europe is due to "goverment funded critical intelectuals". These are particulary popular in more etatistic and non democratic parts, such as France. The "non-goverment" leftist organisations and institutes, funded from the budget who will do just about everything to keep their funding - they are sort of paid protectors of etatism in Europe - sworn enemies of individual liberty and economic freedom.
