(tear open envelope, pull out the card), and the winner is........me. Yup, me (buffoon/plonker/dispstick/wally/wazzock/numpty/...) I set up an Outlook calendar about two months ago to remind me of our wedding anniversary. Princess beetles off to work and gives me a peck on the cheek and says (affectionately, despite the ghastly error on my part) "Happy anniversary, my love, even if you forgot." Forgot, I didn't forget, but Outlook did. I switch on my PC and check the calendar and sure enough there's the entry and the reminder for the day before. Why didn't it remind me? I'd set the reminder for the day before on the day it should have reminded me on. I got the email reminder for The Day but for tomorrow! The shame of it all. :(( Stupid Outlook! Why didn't it have the sense to think, I'm sure he wants the reminder on the 9th, not the 10th. It's 2014, pooters are meant to be smart and reponsible for ruining running your life. :-D

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

You're welcome. Glad to have been of help in preventing others from falling over the rocky precipice.

Well that's one thing I don't have to worry about. I'll never forget our wedding anniversary. If I did, it means I've also forgotten the birthday of my eldest daughter, oh and as it comes only four days after Mrs Yoda's birthday and the day after youngests birthday, I have nooooo excuse for forgetting.

You obviously have an Outlook Calendar Cranial implant. In your case, so many reminders they are like the proverbial London omnibuses. :)

It's the second time in 24 years I've forgotten. The first was about six years ago. I made a mental note to self to never do so again...gulp!

Forgotten twice and still together for 24 years? She must be a species of a different kind :) , Anyway, Happy Anniversary to both of you :rose:

That's a hard partying week. Also you get it all done in one fell swoop. Lucky.

I also don't have to worry. It is easy to remember Little Boy visiting Hiroshima :-\ Perhaps the greatest man-made catastrophe of the last century. Now for this century ... :-O
