Been a little absent the past couple days, on Tuesday Mrs. Wife and I went to get induced. Well 22 hours later on 1/29 @ 12:46 am our first kid Emma Adalyn was born. 8lb 14oz (4.02kg), a lot bigger than anybody had expected considering the wife was only 3 days overdue. The wife is doing ok considering she had to be taken to surgery right after the baby made her appearance. She had to get a blood transfusion last night and I'm heading back there now. Anyway, as soon as I get her typing, I'll get her coding. Reserve member 129201446 for her :).

Congratulations on little Emma (129201446) Adlyn.:rose::rose::rose: Now get a :java: and start working out what you will need in the future: 1. Money (lots of it). 2. Shotgun (to fend off those pesky boys that will start hanging around your princess in seemingly no time at all). 3. Clones (to cover the otherwise sleepless nights you will be suffering from). 4. Patience (endless supply required). I think that about covers it. Unless other CPians have extra suggestions?

    - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

I have no idea who you are... but still Congratulations! I vividly remember the birth of both of my children, and the exhaustion that followed. I'm still trying to catch my breath! It is a time to celebrate, have fun and enjoy the moments. Your life will change forever (and maybe instead of you dragging her into your world of coding, she might drag you into hers). My has taken me on a musical journey that I would never had started myself - we play out at church events, somtimes in front of 200 people... I'm not sure how we got here, I'm an introvert and he is only 7. We started guitar together becahse he wanted to play. That said, he is looking into my world now too. He is homeschooled, and wants me to get him a kit for building those competition robots (the name escapes me). Have fun (and take care of your wife).

I'm not sure why you got induced but that must have been terrible. :) Congrats. 1 is a big change. 2 kids is a big change. 3 or more and you don't even notice the difference anymore. :)

I don't intend to get a third child so I would find out, but I have a guy at work that has three children that would strongly challenge that statement.

Wimps! :) With two you're always busy. One for each parent. So, 3 or 10, you're still always busy. always = always. :)

Well, he would put it a bit differently. You have only two hands. So the next hurdle is at five kids.
