Anyone had a visitation from this damn thing yet. The UK seems to have been hit with this today, personally speaking I have had 11 of them arrive in the mailbox - although none got past the defenses! Bolt the doors & lock the shutters folks! :-D John Hudson
Hello, Here in Mexico it is on fire!! I personally have received it only once, but several friends of mine have received ten or twenty (or even more) in both English and Spanish. Yesterday I sent an ICQ message to a friend of mine saying something like "if you get a mail that says something like 'hi! here's the file I told you about, please review it' then by all means DON'T OPEN IT". Anyone wants to guess what she replied??? "oops, that's exactly what I just did!" Oh, grils, girls... Cheers, -- LuisR -------- Luis Alonso Ramos Chihuahua, Mexico www.luisalonsoramos.com

Hi, there! Here in Peru that virus is making a lots of problems. Guys of technical support are trying hard to clean servers and workstations but then it appears again. I have never seen a virus so hard to kill. It seems it is everywhere!!! A friend of mine always warns me when sending attached stuffs in his emails: both in the body and as a footnote of his emails he tells me what files he is attaching. I think this is a good practice to follow. Regards, Miguel Soto

I am honestly jealous of you... In five years of using email, I have only ever received ONE virus. ONE. And as if that isn't enough, it never got past the virus protection software. Dammit - why can't I get a decent virus? I'm beinging to consider visitng one of the hacking usenet groups and posting "h0w c@N i d0Wnl0@D wINd0z3 ????!?!?!" just for the hell of it. I've been getting these at a rate I can't believe. Yesterday morning, I had 27 of them in my inbox. I actually spent time writing a program that deletes any email over around 100k, so I don't have to download them on a 56k first, and can just kill them in my POP3 inbox. Cheers, Peter

That's hilarious! 1 4m 1337 H4X0R 4nD 4n 4NgRy 35 Y34r-01d v1rG1N?! There's another script like this I like here. It has something to do with Wu-Tan clan (the rap group), although I'm not sure what exactly... My Wu-Name, apparently, is 'Gorky's Zygotic Glove Puppet'. Not that interesting. But, Najmul Khawaja's Wu-Name is Embryonic Crusadah. Interesting, no? So, who's got a funny Wu-Name? ;P -- Russell Morris Georgia Institute of Technology "Hello, I'm doctor stupid. Another one I came across a while back. Do people other than script-kiddies still consider it cool to speak/write like this ?

I'm not sure if my "friends" include that guy who I've got the virus from 35 times!! He's just clickin' away at those attachments trying to work out what it is that he's meant to be looking at. One day he'll work it out... cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)
