That's the score - but did you get the 2048 tile? (I have got a pair of 256's but couldn't get them together)

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. I wonder how the "random-hitting-arrows" vs. "trying-to-hit-arrows-in-a-way-that-makes-sense" play.

It wasn't until I started being systematic that I was able to start getting 256 tiles.

2048[^] Because if I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, why should you get anything done at work today? Personal best: 1024 (EDIT that's a 1024 tile, not the score. no idea what I had there...) Edit2: beat the thing last night. Score just over 20k.

MUAHAHAHhahahahah!!!! *ahem* I warned you. Reaching each new power is more than twice as hard as the previous. You need to make 2x the moves and will have one less space to do the assembly with each time.

As a hint, you need to be systematic to consistently get 512. To consistently get 1024 you need to be extremely systematic. For 2048 you also need to be very lucky. Even after I had the system worked out it took me a half dozen tries because I'd get stuck when the only legal move risked a new piece entering in a system breaking location.
