My experience, 38 seconds from POST to detect all HWARE and show the KDE UI ? 733 P3 256MB Small problem installing USB ADSL Modem solved in 5 minutes Every thing else is quite easy to use. I still don't think I'll be reccomending it to my Mum for her box, but it is getting very close to being that type of setup. Regardz Colin J Davies

Does it not mount your disks? I have not used it. I am curious. I would have thought that it would detect and mount all disks. Since it boots from the CD, i guess you cannot change the configuration to mount the disks at startup. Also, does Linux see NTFS partitions now? Email me your snailmail address, Nish. I'll burn another copy and send it to you. It is ok for women not to like sports, so long as they nod in the right places and bring beers at the right times.

This is really a killer then. Now you can have an OS on a ROM, one step ahead in security. The only problem now is configuration. It must not be allowing you to put in static IP addresses, I assume. My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

But from previous Linux experiences this one has been *so* easy. I am now beginning to see an easier entry point for Linux. Regardz Colin J Davies
