DVD was always Digital Video Disk, for a long time. Then a few years ago, it became 'Versatile'! VERSATILE????!!!?! And LOL was 'lots of laughs; as far as I always knew. Now it is 'laugh out loud'. When the hell did that happen?

My favorite definition of DVD is Dumb Vs. Dumber LOL ;)

Just because the code works, it doesn't mean that it is good code.

So others don't have to...from Wiki (so it must be true!) 'Certain members[who?] of the DVD Forum proposed the backronym "digital versatile disc" to express that DVDs can store other data formats, though the forum never universally accepted this name and a 1999 report decreed that DVD was "simply three letters" and stood for "nothing".[7][unreliable source?] "Digital versatile disc" is the explanation provided in a DVD Forum Primer from 2000.' :) So what does DVR mean? Around here they are called CDs anyway. I don't argue, I know what she means.

I never knew LOL as lots of laughs - it was always laugh out loud - used in online gaming before the days of microphones. In any case, it's 707 down under :)

I intentionally left that up to the interpretation of the reader. :)
