Not a good mixture, even for a vampire with a sweet tooth... On the other hand, Chili and Chocolate work very well together...

I'm pretty sure that google can find you some in Bulgaria: try "chili chocolate" and you will pretty definitely find the Lindt Excellence range - which isn't the best, but it's not bad...

Well, I do put chocolate in my chili con carne as well...not so much you can taste it (chocolate and tomato go together like duck and banana), but it adds a "depth" and "richness" to the dish as subtle backnote.

I found chocolate and mouth to be the best combination. Other than that, I also like chocolate and milk toghether, but prefer chocolate, milk and alcohol.

You can try this (without the chocolate)[^]
========================================================= I'm an optoholic - my glass is always half full of vodka. =========================================================

O boy, now I'm REALLY tempted to try. Luckily enough, I don't care much for duck, so I think I'll have to abstain all the same. But on a similar note: Here in Sweden, we have a dish called "Flying Jacob" (don't ask me why). It's sort of a chicken caserole dish with banana and peanuts often served with boiled or steamed rice. I, as a non-native Swede, find it disgusting. The native Swedes seem to like it... :~

I haven't got the recipe, but I guess that if I wanted to do the dish, I could just wing it... ;)
