Windows 7 update and Outlook 2010
-
36 updates were installed on my Windows 7 64-bit computer yesterday and for some reason, the start up time has gone up considerably. Anyone else facing this? And, even in Outlook 2010, if I flag an email for follow up, there is a message that Outlook 2003 could not find category for follow up (or something like that). Funny.
My CP workspace: Incredibly trivial and probably useless code samples[^]

You should review what updates were installed. Most likely is either a KB update affecting/being adversed by some add in (most common cause), or could be a new component added to Outlook, such a Hotmail connector, which may perform additional work (looking up for Hotmail accounts, contacting live.com etc.). Hard to say without hands-on the local machine.
