Scott says Every developer needs a blog[^]. I say, Every developer needs Code Project Account. It's more than a blog, it's an academy, it's fun , it's resource ... it's everything...

Not everyone is good at expressing themselves in a media such as blogging. I am not good at it but have been told I'm an excellent teacher. Everyone expresses thereself differently!

Along with Antimatter and Dark Matter they've discovered the existence of Doesn't Matter which appears to have no effect on the universe whatsoever! Rich Tennant 5th Wave

I prefer The Smiths; my choice of music by which to develop since the 80s.

You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

You could blog about your twatter account, and twat about your FarceBook account, and FarceBook about your blog. From what I've seen, that's what nearly everyone else is doing...

Some Floyd, yes. But you need to mix in some Stones, some BOC, Hendrix, Within Temptation, Lana Del Rey, Arcana, Marley, Nirvana, ... One thing only doesn't keep your mind flexible enough, in my experience.

I only have one social media account... Not hard to guess where ;-) I've considered Farcebook a few times, but only to follow some of my favourite bands. And then I realized I wasn't a weak minded fool who'd succumb to the evergrowing power of companies such as Farcebook and Twatter. So now I still have no clue what to blog about :)

Not everyone is good at expressing themselves in a media such as blogging. I am not good at it but have been told I'm an excellent teacher. Everyone expresses thereself differently!

So am I supposed to convince my employer to let me blog about what I do for them and to then let me do something that would be cool enough that people other than blog comment spammers would actually care about my posts; or am I supposed to give up any semblance of a life to write code in all my free time for the sake of blogging about it.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint.
