Hello Friends, I have posted my very first article. I request you all to have a look at it. How to Customize the Pager Template?[^] I request you to point out as many flaws as you can. Thanks a Ton, Rahul

I didn't like the use of bullets. Please try to explain things via sentences and paragraphs rather than just putting quick notes. Also, your images appeared to have been resized or zoomed which made them look pixelated.

Let start with the bad news - if I had to approve I wouldn't pass it. You have lot of formatting problems, including images and captions. It's not really an article as there is no sentences in it but a lot of lists and fragments... You totally missing an introduction, so it takes a few moments to understood that you are talking about pager in an asp DetailsView, and you want to show us different approaches how to select the pages... And now for the good news - if you have the knowledge and will, all that can be fixed...

I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

I would prefer headings with proper capitalization, not all caps. For example, CheckBoxList instead of CHECKBOXLIST.

All caps actually bothers me quite a bit to read through... X|

See my comments on your article - which is the correct place for people to comment rather than duplicating that service here in the lounge.

Hello sir, Yes i understand what ever you just said. I will take care next time. I dint have any idea about formatting. Before publishing an article next time i will take care to first look at the work of other people. However i will have to open that page in different browsers to check the resizing of all the images. I thank you to open my eyes. Thanks a ton, Rahul

It's a privilege of the human kind to do mistakes and fix them - in the animal word the meaning of mistake is dead! To release an article that needs improvements is not a sin, to improve it is a wise deed!

Yes sir, I have realized my mistake: Actually, i have made some minute changes. Now what i need to do is: re-edit the article so that i can add more introduction stuff. Then i need to fix the images, because .jpeg is not a good choice. I need to use PNG images. from next time i wont use points. It will be a paragraph. I thought of using points because the content becomes more readable. What else should i fix? Please advise, Thanks a ton, Rahul
