I presume there won't be any answers under 110 in a place for coders ! Also, I want to know if Im clever enough to do something really important at computers!( e.g working at intel, finding zero day exploits etc )..of course I know fluid intelligence is not the only factor...but it surely plays a major role! So...my Intelligence Quotient is from 128 to 145(different tests, different results...most accurate was at~130 I think) Is that good enough for what I want? And what's yours? Random fact: guitars with floyd rose tremolo system (floating tremolo)have less sustain than those with a fixed bridge since there is much energy lost on the bridge..sustain also varies by the wood used, distance between string and fretboard and material used at the end of the strings...who knows...maybe a stranger will call you and say "if you tell me a disadvantage of floating tremolo system i will give you 1.000.000€

This is what they won't tell you in academia land... measuring IQ is extremely subjective. And there are many types of intelligence that IQ simply does not measure. It's basically a number for geeks to geek out on much like how guys compare bench press. Anyway, I have a genius level IQ that's like almost 200 (or did), but years of stress made that drop like a rock. And believe me I sure can be stupid at times. I'm sure I could climb it back up if I really wanted to. So could you. It only measures analytic intelligence where the prerequisite is some formal knowledge in XYZ despite the claims otherwise. The more you program the better your brain will learn to analyze and thus your IQ will go up, assuming stress doesn't kill you. So, learn Zen, smoke pot, be a genius.

An IQ test is a useless indicator of intelligence, and has no relevance at all when it comes to your suitability for a job. Your random fact is not always true. Sustain, in a guitar, is a complex set of interacting elements and is much more affected by things such as the wood used in the body. I would put the sustain in my 777 Universe up against the sustain in my Brian May any time - the 777 pretty much sustains all on its own.

An IQ can't tell whether you are good to code (or any other stuff you have mentioned). Go and figure it out yourself. You can start with the C# Tutorials[^] provided by the MSDN. You will ned VS EXpress[^] installed. If you encounter any problems, double-check whether you have any spelling mistakes, etc., Google for the error text, and once you did all that, and only then, you can ask us in the C# Forum[^]. And please stop adding the random facts, it seems childish.

More people need to realize it's a load of fluff. I've learned a lot from people that would have a low IQ. Turns out another way of looking at analysis is over thinking. Over thinkers never get that far in life. So much for a high IQ. Take that mensa!!

Firstly ..YOU LOVE VAI TOO !! *high five*(you have to really like a player to buy a 7stringed signature model otherwise schecter, strictly 7 or musicman would be a better choise..not for me I love Ibanez) now...sustain is always reduced when you install a floyd rose.Ibanez has those steel balls on their good ones to limit energy loss. I never said the floyd is the major sustain-eater. For me it's more the 'height' of the strings..but when you set them too high the organ becomes unplayable! ...isn't the neck join much uncomfortable when shredding in high frets? I have an RGT42 which is neck through (t stand for through I guess) an,apart from giving good sustain with extremely low action it does not in any way obstruct my fingers when playing in gigh frets...that's why Im afraid to buy a bolt-on guitar...it will feel like a cello !

It's all about focus and motivation. If you can focus 100% on what you do and feel strongly motivated to do it, you can do anything. :) Whatever you can do, or believe you can, begin it.

I totally agree with you. When I was 17, I've got 160 for my IQ. Now, after 4 years, I take another IQ test and I just got ~150. Truly stress affects how the brain works after all. And, I don't mind having lower IQ, 'coz not everything in life was taught in school. You just have to know it by yourself. The more you get older, the more you learn (from experiences).

What date? I'm turning 22 this October, too. :) But everyone I've met the first time said I look like a 16-year-old girl.
