So
Congrats +=1;

That's not true. I have seen young parents with murder in their eyes, who then got the big biochemical pacifier from mother nature. That was when I decided that seven billions of us were enough on one planet.

I would prefer making the
numberOfSons
variable an unsigned integer directly (a byte is most suitable, unless you have a massive harem). Congrats :) PS: maybe you could also addRandom r = new Random(newChild.Quietness());
TimeSpan averageDailySleepTime = TimeSpan.FromHours(r.NextDouble(0d, 8d));There are two kinds of people in the world: those who separate humankind in two distinct categories, and those who don't. "I have two hobbies: breasts." DSK

Maybe because they aren't ready to be parents yet? For me, what Maxx wrote is true, it's just that some didn't see that way because they weren't ready to embrace parenthood. Yet.

I've had that same murder in my eyes, too. Being a parent is HARD - no two ways about it. Some go in entirely unprepared, others think they are prepared. Nobody is, actually, prepared. With a big, close family, it's much MUCH easier. In my case, just the two of us, grandparents all kicking up daisy's all relatives overseas. Elephanting hard. Still it. But, somehow, the moments of pure, unadulterated joy just make up for it all. It's one of those things you have to experience - because however much you try to explain both the joy, and the tiredness, non-parents just don't understand. don't get me wrong, I don't think 'everyone should have a kid' - far from it - there should be an exam - but once you've been there, some of the crap parents have said in your past suddenly makes sense. And, when your boy is a toddler, in the public toilet, and shouts out loud enough for everyone to hear "Hey Dad, your willy's really big!" it somehow makes it all worthwhile ;)

Congratulations! :rose:
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

Couldn't have expressed it better even if I tried. We're in the same situation here, except in our case also the grandparents are very far away.

Doesn't work in WinForms (disputably) and the sting.Format is redundant. B-, must try harder. :)

Not father than my boy's though ;) He gets very jealous of his friends' having grandparents sometimes - especially those whose grandparents spoil them rotten. I just point out to him that we spoil him anyway :)
