My google fu is failing me today. Can someone recommend a picture sharing service that is easy for a dummy like me to use, doesn't require the viewer to login and I don't have to give the service invasive personal information (yes I am looking at you Flickr)? Thanks

      Facebook.

Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

imgur[^] You could register .. or not. If you do (not that useful IMO), they don't ask for anything except an email address (and you could use a temp one).

Well if we go by the premise that, friends don't let friends Farcebook, we know where you stand don't we?

Assuming this is not a code / API related question, I would recommend Tumblr. I've got 2 photo/picture blogs there and it works really well for me.

My plan is to live forever ... so far so good

Pictures aren't programming questions, so just dump 'em here.

g+ doesn't require a log in to view pictures so long as they are posted publicly. Its also pretty trivial to do. You can actually use the images with out posting them publiclly with the embedded link but that comes with all the g+ embedded stuff (+1 button, share button etc.).

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

OneDrive isn't bad. It allows public sharing. I admit that it more akin to a general purpose cloud drive, but it works well for photos allowing easy folder viewing and slide shows. You can tag people or just add tags. Also, OneDrive works with Windows 7 and is built into Windows 8 so it automatically syncs with your hard drive allowing easy editing/managing without download/uploads. If you use Windows 8 or Windows Phone, you probably already have an account. You can share folders or just files to the public or individuals with read/only or edit permissions both by link or embedded link. http://1drv.ms/1kThBpY I admit this example has more than just photos, but it handles those photos pretty well.
