There was a classic art exhibit years ago of two people slapping each other, can't remember what it was (or where, or when, and a quick google revealed nothing) but I distinctly remember seeing a video of it related to some weird exploration of different forms of art. Well, whatever. Marc

I find the sound of strangers slapping each other oddly satisfying... Please don't judge me :D

On a serious note, this is a real sociological subject : slapping someone you first met is apparently more intimate a move towards him/her as kissing them.

Seems they're pretty good at managing their anger - I'll have to admit that I would probably get a wee bit miffed if somebody started to slap me around ... I say probably, because I haven't all that much experience in that regard ...

I've been slapped some between the USMC and two ex-wives. :)

I won't judge you, so long as you don't judge me for the bits where one of the participants gets punched in the face :D

And the moral of the story is don't get married, stick with the USMC ;P

Has no explanation, like that "Nude Dating" show I saw advertised on VH1 while watching Styx's Pieces of Eight and The Grand Illusion albums play-out concert. Found this slapping nonsense actually fun to watch by muting its audio and launching Slayer's "Postmortem" on another browser window/tab  -- RP
