In short, MicroShaft still hasn't figured out we Developers INTENSELY DISLIKE small constraining non-sizable windows, let alone having to RESET the danged window to the same danged place every stinkin' time. Or, am I clueless that there is, in fact, an ability to resize, say, the Configuration Manager window (and that it'll RECALL this next time I use it)? C'mon, MicroShaft engineers, get into *at least* the 19th Century A.D. or, hey, the 10th century B.C. where even scrolls where freakin' SIZABLE! :mad:I INTENSELY DISLIKE NON-SIZABLE WINDOWS, especially ones with freakin' long lists!! X| Now back to the drudgery of using MicroShaft products designed by micro-mindedness... X| And, thank you, CP, for this 'therapy' session...

This is my personal opinion. Period.

Every Window can be resized; you get it's handle and SetWindowPos[^].

I'm pretty sure Shaft was 70s.

You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

Yes, Eddy, we developers OUTSIDE of MicroShaft know this, and we use it in *our* code. However, I'm speaking directly to the application VS2012 itself (or VS2003, VS2005, VS2008, VS2010), all of which do not have this code implemented across all windows within VS (as such they should). Why micro-mindedness thinks we developers like to have looooong lists in a static, non-sizable window can only come from, well, MicroShaft!

          My personal opinion. Period.

I'm generally more concerned about width.

What have you tried so far ;P I am just kidding, I understand your rant. Does VS2013 have the same issue? Soren Madsen
