Oops! I thought you were an Indian. Your name is an Indian one, so I assumed you were an Indian. My apologies if I am wrong. :rose:

:omg::omg: Zim 133 all out. Kenya require 134 to win. If Kenya wins it will be semi-final between India vs Kenya. But can Kenyan batting survive to score 134 :~ I am speechless.

Congratulations Sandeep Patil (Kenya Coach). Well done. In Simple words: 1. Zimbabwe out of worldcup. 2. Ind vs Kenya is sure in semis 3. Aus vs Kiwis or Aus vs SL in other semis 3. Last combination for SriLanka survive If SL bt Zim and Ind bt Kiwis Aus - 24 vs SL - 11.5 Ind - 20 vs Ken - 14 4. Last combination for Kiwis to survive Kiwis must beat India: (Result of SL vs Zim doesn't matter) Aus - 24 vs Kiwis - 12 Ind - 16 vs Ken - 14

Simply put this is a scare situation for Aussies. Now if India doesnot defeat Kiwis in last match, Aussies will have to face Kiwis again. This time they may not be lucky. They may also face SLs. The SF is in the only ground where Aussies have not performed well.

Just because they come from the same continent doesn't really mean we are 'friends'. <rant> One of the things that irks me the most is after talking to so many indians here (not on CP, but at work) is that most of them are so reluctant to give Kenya any credit for their wins. One of my friendcolleague claims (without any proof ofcourse) that the SL V kenya game was fixed, without even thinking rationally why SL would throw that game (pre Super 6 game). Let me ask you this, if Kenya had lost to Zim (as most of you expected) would the 'thought' that Kenya lost to their 'friends' Zim to keep their (zim's) SF hopes alive have entered your mind?? </rant>

I think Kenya has been playing very well this World Cup, considering how new they are into Cricket. Yes, a few things have favoured them, like NZ giving up the match, but it's none of their fault and credit should not be taken away from them. Even when they lose, they lose with dignity, after playing well. And in the past, they have beaten West Indies in the World Cup and India twice in some other series. So the team cannot be dismissed lightly at all. The team has a lot of potential, and the coach Sandip Patil will really have a ball on the Semi Final day. If India wins, his patriotic side will be happy. If Kenya wins, the professional inside him will be happy.

One of the things I have been thinking is whether Zim lost delibrately to allow their friend Kenya to go to SF. Kenya and Zimbabwe are no friends! </rant>

I was expecting to see Kenya win by 3-4 wickets. But when I saw too many no balls being balled by Zimbabwe and the match getting finished so quickly, doubts entered into my mind that Zim did not fight. If there was one person(in CP) who hoped that Kenya will make it to Super Six that was me. But the fact that it happened so easily that got me. I had the same doubts with India vs SL when SL got out so cheaply.

If Aussies throw the match against Kenya, and India lose against NZ, will it still be Ind vs Kenya My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

Yes, it'll still be India vs Kenya. Suppose for a moment that Aus loses to Kenya and India loses to NZ. Now, Aus - 20 points Kenya - 18 points India - 16 points NZ - 12 points SL and Zim are out Now, the teams ending up at 2nd and 3rd positions will play each other in the Semis, ie India and Kenya.
