But they've done that since the beginning so I don't see why so upset now.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

It would be a waste of money to have all that windows 8 product in stores to go to waste buy releasing a new version of windows, my main issue is that programmers are seen by the rest of the world as full of shit and how people go on about a product that does not exist yet confirms that in the hearts of people.

Really? Do tell. Edit: See JSOP's post below.

The rumors of Windows 9 existed shortly after windows 8 originally had been released, the features in threshold were suppose to be in windows 8.1 update, and Microsoft Virtual Academy videos eluded to consecutive roll out releases before Windows 8.1 and has further continued that trend with the 8.1 update, going to windows 9 is done so only for one reason; to have all the users of windows to pay money to Microsoft, these tactics in threshold are being put in place to try to better market windows 8.

As I've said elsewhere, you're a moron. And you're projecting how you feel others think of you onto the rest of the programmer community. Moronic. Get. Into. Rehab. Now.

No matter how many times you spout the same crap, doesn't affect the fact you are talking crap. Repeated outbursts don't affect reality, no matter how far your fingers are stuffed in your ears.

Well, XP lasted for quite some time, so Windows 9 might too I guess :) Anyway, not sure when but I'm guessing the release of Windows 9 is going to happen.

Is this some kind of hipster "stream of consciousness" thing or is English not your native language? BTW - Its common knowledge that Microsoft (and Apple and Google) are already working on the "next" OS when they release any given OS. As for Windows 9 simply being a way to get money... there is some evidence that Microsoft may make it a free upgrade from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. Given that Apple has moved to free upgrades on OS X it's not without precedent.

Is this some kind of hipster "stream of consciousness" thing or is English not your native language? BTW - Its common knowledge that Microsoft (and Apple and Google) are already working on the "next" OS when they release any given OS. There was evidence that windows 8 would be free to windows 7 users but it was not. I am not denying the existence of the next OS, I am denying the existence of Windows 9. There was no Windows 6, it was called vista and the Next Version may very well simply be OneCore, but it is also likely to be Windows 8.2, but not windows 9. I learned to program in C before I mastered English.

Well, XP lasted for quite some time, so Windows 9 might too I guess :) Anyway, not sure when but I'm guessing the release of Windows 9 is going to happen.

There was no Windows 6. There is more evidence that the next version will be called Windows OneCore or Windows 8.2 then there is it being called Windows 9.
