    No it wasn't. Microsoft bought DOS. It had nothing to do with Bill Gates. Perhaps you would care to share some more of your revisionist history.

    Dos was invented in a board room off of nothing before bill gates bought an operating system for $50,000 and then called it dos, and he only did so after he changed the OS to suit IBM. Windows 1 and Apple (I forget what the original windowed OS was called) were both stolen from Xerox. That doesn't change the fact that is was Microsoft first OS.

      Errm, you said it was Bill Gates' first OS. Considering that they bought it, and Paul Allen was responsible for most of the integration, Gates actually had very little to do with it.

            Nah I'm bored, without intellectual stimulation there's no reason to go on.

                It was actually his second if you count that ticker tape OS that ran that machine of dots. He owned the company that is all that matters.

                      If you know what you are doing in Windows 8, you can do things that you didn't even know where possible, so go to Microsoft Virtual Academy and learn about Windows 8, instead of talking out your ass.
