There is assuming and there is seeing what smacks you in the face.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.-John Q. Adams
You must accept one of two basic premises: Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not alone in the universe. And either way, the implications are staggering.-Wernher von Braun
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.-Albert Einstein

You're a racist cunt as far as I am concerned so I will pay you with racism until you stop insulting people.

Who says I'm insulting "people"? And your words have no effect on me except to amuse.

Everything that could be important with every possible outcome has already been thought of, the world is just a chess game.

As is most Microsoft Training, I have found it easier to figure out what I need to know by doing, breaking things and then fixing them. Win 8 seems to get around that by hiding everything I need (Device Manager etc.) it takes too long to find them. Also there appears to be a change to the Interface Layer (with regard to drivers) that appears to get in the way of some of my applications...

I care about credibility of programmers, who I am learning clearly have none, and these threads make it easy to show the public that you don't have credibility.

sounds like you wouldn't know a good programmer if you married one

Then why did you post? Windows has never gone from Windows X to windows X.1 Windows 3.1 was the only other Windows to have a .1 and was only there to distinguish itself from 3.11 which was networking. The whole point of this is that no one at Microsoft has said Windows 9.

Hmm ... It went from 3 to 3.1 and 3.11 was a minor minor update to bring in the networking from the NT build.
